Cheese, Smoked Paprika And Fennel Crackers

- 4.5 oz shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 5 oz 12-grain flour shopping list
- 1 tbsp cheddar cheese powder shopping list
- ½ tbsp fresh-grated Parmesan shopping list
- 1 tsp kosher salt shopping list
- ½ tsp baking powder shopping list
- ¼ tsp onion powder shopping list
- ¼ tsp garlic powder shopping list
- ½ tsp smoked paprika shopping list
- ½ tsp lightly crushed fennel seeds shopping list
- ¼ cup whole milk shopping list
- 2 tbsp canola oil shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl until well combined, kneading by hand until a stiff, slightly dry dough forms.
- Wrap in plastic and chill at least 1 hour, preferably overnight*.
- Preheat oven to 375F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment.
- Roll dough out to 1/8" thickness and cut out into desired shapes.
- Bake for 10 minutes (for 2” crackers).
- Cool completely on the sheets.
- Transfer to an airtight container and eat within a few days.
Note
- You can also make and freeze blocks of dough for later baking - wrap in plastic, then foil and freeze up to 6 months. Thaw completely in the fridge before proceeding with the recipe.
