Ingredients

1 cabbage

6 small potatoes

12 carrots

2 onions (sliced)

6 polish or smoked sausages

3 corn cobs, halved (optional)

2 tbsp. liquid smoke

Directions

Put 1 or more inches of water in a large cooking pot.

Layer ingredients in pot.

In between layers season with steak seasoning, seasoned salt, or salt and pepper.

Cut cabbage into wedges and put at least 1/2 on top of everything else.

Cover with a tight fitting lid.

Bring to a boil then reduce heat.

Simmer 50 min or more (until potatoes and carrots are done).

You can put butter and sour cream on the potatoes or just use the flavored water from the bottom.
