How to make it

  • Toss berries and sugar together in a medium pot. Cover and let stand overnight.
  • In the morning, bring mixture to a boil and cook 5 minutes.
  • Stir in lemon juice and vanilla, cook 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat and stir in pectin and sherry.
  • Ladle into jars, seal and process 10 minutes in a waterbath.
