North Croatian Cabbage And Pasta (“krpice Sa Zeljem”)

- 300 g pasta (“farfalla”) shopping list
- 600 g cabbage shopping list
- 100 g lard (or oil) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- ½ cup water shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta according to manufacturer manual.
- During this cut cabbage into stripes up to 1 cm wide and put them on hot lard. Add salt and pepper.
- Sauté it until cabbage is soft – 30-45 min (add some water for better results).
- When the cabbage is soft, mix it with pasta and sauté for few more minutes (it should be dry and greasy). Serve warm.
