- Ingredients shopping list
- 1 pound ground turkey shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper shopping list
- 1 T minced garlic shopping list
- 1 cup elbow macaroni shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1 T chili powder shopping list
- 1 t ground cumin shopping list
- 1/4 t black pepper shopping list
- 1 t salt shopping list
- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes shopping list
- 1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans, drained rinsed shopping list
- 1 regular can whole-kernel corn, drained shopping list
- 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste shopping list
- shredded sharp cheddar cheese to taste (Optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Cook first 4 ingredients in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat until browned, stirring with crumbled turkey. Drain. Return mixture to pan; stir in cooked macaroni and next 9 ingredients (macaroni through tomato paste). Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spoon onto each of 8 plates; top with cheese.
