I posted the recipe as is. I always use butter. Hey that is why we all cook and do as we wish with any recipe. I think we will all die from something! I have eaten oleo many times growing up. I am still here! LOL. Obviously you are as well. What each of us do with our posts and recipes is up to us. I just like to post it as is and in original form given..

I will always try to post my recipes as I found or given. I will always add what I changed or added to a recipe.

Oleo is something that many OLD recipes used. I doubt anyone even uses it anymore. I have several old recipes that do use oleo as I posted them. I would presume everyone will make their adjustments. Don't even know if you can buy the stuff anymore.

But thank you for your input and it’s always nice to add death to a recipe. It is like saying EWWW at the dinner table!! LMAO.

I think at this day and age people are health conscious and are smart enough to make their own choices.

This is good stuff. But use real butter and ditch the oleo. Did you know that stuff was originally developed to fatten turkeys. Really. But the turkeys died. The recipe I posted on my page some time back is called Mixed Vegetable Casserole, but whatever name it's good and easy. Cheddar cheese works best in this dish. Melt the butter and pour evenly on top of the Ritz.
