Red Cake

                    - 1/2 cup Crisco shortening shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 oz red food coloring (1 oz. food coloring and 1 oz. water) shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cocoa (level) shopping list
- 1 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 tablespoon vinegar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon soda shopping list
How to make it 
                    - Cream sugar and shortening.Add cake coloring, then add eggs one at a time beat well after each addition.
- Sift flour, salt, and cocoa together 3 times.Then add alternating with the buttermilk, add vanilla and beat well.
- Dissolve soda in vanilla, use a cup because it will foam, fold into batter (Do not stir or beat).Bake in two layer pans greased well (Not floured).
- Bake in 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes.
