How to make it

  • Heat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9” pan.
  • Whisk together the flaxseed, chia seed and hot water, set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the butter, peanut butter, sugars and Truvia (if using).
  • Add flax mixture and vanilla, beating well.
  • Stir in the flour, baking powder, nutmeg and salt.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and peanut butter cups.
  • Spread into a greased 9” pan. for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Cool on a wire rack, then cut into bars
