How to make it
- Place prunes in a bowl and cover with boiling water.
- Cover bowl with plastic and let stand 2 hours.
- Strain (reserving liquid) and transfer to a food processor.
- Puree, adding soaking liquid as necessary to achieve desired consistency (aim for an "apple butter" like puree for baking, if using for infants dilute as needed).
- Store in the fridge or portion into 1/4 cup servings and freeze.
