- 1 cup cider vinegar shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar shopping list

How to make it
- Roughly chop the onion, place in a large bowl, then add whole Jalapenos.
- Add a little vegetable oil, and toss the onion/jalapeno to lightly coat
- Cut the top off of the head of garlic and lightly oil
- Cook all vegetables on the grill. Jalapenos are done when they start to wrinkle and have some char. Garlic is done when cloves are soft. Onion should have some char. Should take roughly 20 mins.
- Add Water, Vinegar, salt and brown sugar to a blender. add onion. Take the stems off of jalapenos and put them whole in the blender (seeds and all). Remove the softened cloves of garlic from the head and add to blender. Puree. Add Mustard and Italian seasoning, puree again to fine paste.
- Transfer hot sauce to a sauce pan and simmer for 20 mins. Then transfer to mason jars.
- Makes roughly 1.5 quarts (3 pints) of hot sauce.
- 32 Tablespoons are in 1 Pint
- !!! WARNING !!! Be careful simmering the hot sauce in-doors. You will "pepper spray" the kitchen / immediate area around the stove and small children and/or your spouse will not appreciate the burning sensation they experience in their eyes and sinuses.
