How to make it

  • Thinly slice or chop fruit (if using large fruit like Peaches/Apples) into roughly same sized pieces. If using berries you need to crush blueberries / blackberries / raspberries. For strawberries, you need 4 cups of sliced berries.
  • Put fruit into a large seal-able container.
  • Add Sugar, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Salt, Vanilla and flour.
  • Seal container and shake to thoroughly mix everything.
  • Let sit in refrigerator for 24-48 hours.
  • Ready for use as pie filling or fruit crisp.
  • For topping, put into a sauce pan and bring to a simmer and allow to thicken.
