Wedding Reception Cupcakes! ( So Cute!)

I will soon be a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding..... *FROWNY FACE FROWNY FACE!* Anyway, her colors are red and white ( SO CUTE) and so I thought that I would make these cute little cakes for her. I fashioned mine after our bridesmaids dresses, and they are ADORABLE! Read more ! Keep in mind that you do not HAVE to use red velvet, I did that after her wedding colors! See less
Ingredients
- CAKE STUFF!! shopping list
- 2 boxes of Duncan Hines red velvet cake mix shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups of cold water shopping list
- 2/3 cup of vegetable oil shopping list
- 6 large eggs shopping list
- BAKING STUFF!! shopping list
- AS MANY CUPCAKE PANS AS POSSIBLE!! shopping list
- cupcake tins? duh. RED!! shopping list
- DECOR STUFF! shopping list
- red and white fondant shopping list
- white frosting shopping list
- a sharp ( very pointy) knife shopping list
How to make it
- 1.mix your *CAKE STUFF* in a LARGE BOWL!
- 2. Pour into the pans, and bake like you would normally, untill no longer wet
- 3.cut your red fondant out in real plain dress shapes. I did a boat neck, with a curvy drop.
- 4. Cut out flowers for the dress with your white fondant
- Paste them on your cupcakes ( when they are cool) with your white frosting.
