Pecan Butter Pecan Pie

- one 9" pie crust, unbaked shopping list
- 1/2 cup golden or dark corn syrup shopping list
- 1/2 cup clover honey shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tbsp cornstarch shopping list
- 1⁄2 cup pecan butter shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Heat the oven to 400°F and place the pie crust in a pan on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, beat together the syrup, honey, sugar, vanilla, salt, cornstarch and pecan butter until well combined.
- Mix in eggs, being careful not to whip too much air into the mixture.
- Fold in pecans.
- Pour into the shell and bake for 15 minutes.
- Lower the temperature to 350°F and bake 35 minutes longer, until centre is set but a little "jiggly" when the pan is shaken.
- Chill overnight before serving.
