How to make it

  • Break up the ramen noodles. Discard seasoning packets.
  • Heat oil in deep saute pan (I used my wok) and saute onion, pepper strips and garlic until slightly softened.
  • Add chicken broth and bring to a low boil.
  • Add cod, seasonings/spices and ramen noodles.
  • Simmer 5 minutes. Add coconut milk.
  • Simmer another five minutes.
  • Add edamame.
  • Eat. Preferably with a cold beer to tame the heat.
