Sourdough Croutons

- 1/3 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt shopping list
- 6 slices sourdough bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (thick slices) shopping list
- 2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
- Combine melted butter, Italian seasoning, olive oil, and kosher salt in a large bowl; add bread cubes and toss to coat. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the bread cubes; toss to coat. Spread onto a baking sheet.
- Bake in preheated oven, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned, about 20 minutes.

I never made my own croutons. So easy and so much better than store bought. They have a nice butter flavor and if I had the grated Parmesan that would have put them over the top. Definitely a recipe worth saving and making again.
