How to make it

  • 1. Beat eggs and add milk, bread crumbs, onions, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic. Crumble ground beef over this mixture and gently fold together with a fork.
  • 2. Fold 2 pieces of aluminum foil into 2 long strips (to help lift meatloaf out when done) and put into the bottom of the crock pot so they cross, like an “X”.
  • 3. Put the meat mixture in and lightly pat it into a loaf shape, leaving some room around the sides.
  • 4. Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
  • 5. If you like a glaze, can also add your favorite for the last 30 minutes or so.

    Hi Karen!
    If you used sour cream instead of milk, you'd be right in line with how I like it! It gets really, really hard to imagine a better next day sandwich, aside from leg of lamb.
