Cheryl's Chili Beans

- 3lb lean ground beef, browned shopping list
- 1 large onion, chopped shopping list
- 2 TBLSP minced garlic shopping list
- 1 TBLSP salt shopping list
- (1) 29oz tomato sauce shopping list
- (1) 14.5oz diced tomatoes shopping list
- (1) 15.5oz pinto beans shopping list
- 1 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp onion powder shopping list
- 1 tsp ground oregano shopping list
- 1/2 tsp sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt shopping list
- 1 TBLSP chili powder, or more shopping list
How to make it
- In a large skillet brown the ground beef and chopped onion together on medium heat stirring often. Add minced garlic and stir. Simmer on medium heat for 10 more minutes. Drain fat off and put meat into a large stock pot. Add salt, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beans, and seasonings. Let it simmer on medium low for 10 min.
