Lemon Olive Oil

- 1 large fresh lemon shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. of peppercorns shopping list
- 1 c. of extra-virgin olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- First you want to scrub the lemon to remove surface impurities; rinse and dry well.
- Then add the olive oil in a small heavy saucepan.
- Next use a zester, add lemon zest directly to olive oil.
- Now add bay leaf and peppercorns.
- Then you can heat oil over medium low flamefor 10 minutes.
- Now remove from flame and cool slightly.
- Then you can transfer oil to hot, sterilized bottle and seal.
- Note: This can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 months.
