How to make it

  • Bake crust at 350 for 5 minutes.
  • Cream cheese well, beat in 1/2 cup sugar, add eggs and 1/2 tsp vanilla, beat well. Pour into crust leaving room for sour cream topping. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes or until firm. Note this can take longer than 20 minutes just keep baking until firm. Also put pie on a cookie sheet to avoid disaster.
  • Mix sour cream, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 5 tbs sugar and cinnamon. Spread on pie and return to oven for 5 minutes more.
  • Cool then chill.
