How to make it

  • Cut the ends of 2 heads of garlic the pointed part to expose the cloves. Place the garlic individually on pieces of aluminum foil. Drizzle the garlic with olive oil and dust them with salt and pepper. Wrap the garlic in the aluminum foil loosely.
  • Put into a preheated 350 degree oven for about 40 minutes until the garlic becomes soft and spreadable.
  • Place one head of the soft garlic cloves on each half of bread. Spread it like butter cover the entire surface.
  • Brush the entire surface with olive oil especially the edges.
  • Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the bread.
  • Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the bread add some black pepper and a very light dusting of salt.
  • Put into a 425 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until the top is toasted and the edges crispy. Remove cut and serve.
