How to make it

  • For the Cake
  • Preheat oven to 350*, grease a 9" spring foam pan
  • Puree beans using a food processor until beans start to form a paste
  • Add eggs and mix 3-5 min
  • Add cocoa, baking powder,sugar and vanilla, puree 2-3 min. until smooth
  • Pour into pan, bake for 25 min or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
  • Let cool in pan for 10 min. before topping with warm pears.
  • For the Pears
  • In a large pan saute butter(Earth Balance), pears and ginger & dried cranberries.
  • Finish with maple syrup.
  • Top the cake with French Vanilla frozen yogurt and warm Gingered Pears.
  • Enjoy!
