Downton Abbey Style Tomato Sorbet

- 750g/1½lbs Vine Tomatoes - skinned & peeled shopping list
- ½tsp Red Wine Vinegar shopping list
- ¾tsp Salt shopping list
How to make it
- Half the tomatoes and blend in blender or food processor until totally pureed;
- Add wine vinegar and salt and whisk together well;
- Transfer the mixture to a freezer container, place in freezer and freeze until semi frozen;
- Remove from freezer and whisk again to break up any ice crystals;
- Return to freezer and freeze solid.
- To serve, soften at room temperature for some 15 minutes or so and scoop into balls.
- Note: Can freeze for up to one month before using.
