How to make it

  • 1. I marinate the steak in the teriyaki sauce for at least an hour.
  • 2. In a large skillet or wok, heat oil over medium high heat; add garlic and sliced steak.
  • 3. Cook until garlic is golden and meat is seared on the outside.
  • 4. Reduce heat to med/low; add teriyaki sauce, pineapple and 1/4 cup pineapple juice.
  • 5. Simmer 10 minutes.
  • 6. Add Asian vegetables and green onions.
  • 7. Cook another 5 to 7 minutes.
  • 8. Serve over prepared rice.

  • My Asian stir-fry vegetables:
  • • ¼ cup chopped spring onion.
  • • ¼ cup celery, strings removed, sliced.
  • • ¼ - ½ cup bamboo shoots, cut in strips.
  • • ¼ cup water chestnuts, sliced thin.
  • • ¼ - ½ cup diced snow peas.
  • • ¼ cup diced zucchini, Optional.
  • Blanch or lightly steam this lot; then add.
  • • ¼ - ½ cup sliced mushrooms.
