How to make it

  • Combine water, vinegar, honey, salt, garlic, pepper corns, and oregano in a saucepan over high heat.
  • Bring mixture to a boil, stir in jalapeno peppers and remove from heat. Let mixture cool for 10 minutes or more if you like.
  • Pack peppers into jars, cover with vinegar mixture, cover, and refrigerate until needed.
  • Chop sticks work great to push the slices and veggies down and spread them around.
  • Tongs help you put them in the jars with less mess.
