Sausage With Ravioli Another Way

- 3 tbsp olive oil divided shopping list
- 1 medium onion chopped shopping list
- 1 bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 8 oz mushrooms sliced shopping list
- 2 lbs sausages sliced (any think will do) shopping list
- 1 (14 oz) diced tomatoes (I used the one with onion, celery and bell pepper) shopping list
- 4 oz cream cheese (1/2 of an 8 oz brick) cubed shopping list
- 2 (16 oz) packages Ravioli (any type should work) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. dried chives shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. dried sage shopping list
How to make it
- In large pot cook Ravioli per instructions.
- In large fry pan heat up 1 tbsp. of oil. Add onion and fry for about 2 minutes added bell pepper and fry for a couple more minutes. Added mushroom and sausage meat.
- Fry until sausages are cooked about 3 to 5 minutes. Turn down heat to simmer
- Add canned tomatoes and mix. Add the cream cheese and mix in. Allow cream cheese to melt into the mixture. Allow mixture to simmer.
- When Ravioli is cooked drain and return to pot. Add 2 tbsp. of oil and toss or mix together. Add dried spices and mix gently.
- If you wish instead of using the oil and dry spices you can mix the sausage mixture with the Ravioli instead of serving separate
