How to make it

  • I get my grill good and hot, oil it first with paper towel and a little olive oil.
  • Turn heat down to low if Gas Grill
  • Place salmon skin side down. I rub a little olive oil on the skin so it won't stick as well.
  • I cook my fish on low, I do not flip it over.
  • I add kosher salt, lemon pepper sprinkle of dill and kosher salt top with lemon slices.
  • Close lid for 5 minutes,--7 minutes...fish will be opaque (a rather milky color) when it is finished cooking.
  • I put on cookie sheet when done and cover with foil as fish will continue to cook when removed.
  • Dinner is done, salad, corn on the cob and French bread..good as it gets!
