How to make it

  • 1. Place first seven ingredients in slow cooker and set on low. Cook on low for 5 hours.
  • 2. Remove chicken to cutting board to shred, then return to slow cooker.
  • 3. Stir in cream cheese.
  • 4. When cream cheese has melted into broth, add the tortellini and spinach.
  • 5. Cook on low for another hour, or until tortellini is cooked through and tender.

    Oh my gosh was this good. Huge hit at my house. Only changed the recipe a little. I scaled back the spinach out of my preference this night. And instead of adding tortellini to soup uncooked I boiled them separately and dumped in soup. Easy, filling and comforting. Thank you dear Arich!
