Gochujang Sauce

I've had Gochujang sauce in restaurants before and last December purchased a bottled Gochujang sauce at a Farmer's Market which was fabulous. Once it ran out though I decided to look around for a recipe that I could make on my own. Read more Deelicious, and far cheaper than buying it premade. The recipe was from Kate on All Recipes, and I tweaked it a bit as I found hers a tad too sweet. This is great on Asian lettuce wraps and would also be wonderful on chicken wings. :) See less
Ingredients
- 4 level tbsp Korean chili paste (Gochujang) shopping list
- 4 tbsp. white vinegar shopping list
- 2 tbsp honey shopping list
- 1-2 tsp. sesame oil to taste shopping list
- 1 tsp sesame seeds shopping list
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients well. I put them in a small mason jar, stirred it with a mini whisk and then shook it. :) The Chili paste is very goopy, so just keep working it until the sauce is of equal consistency.
