This is from a dear friend of mine who has passed. She loved to bake. She gave me this recipe because it is not your traditional cheesecake recipe. It is done in a square pan and it is like custard. It is different, quick and delicious.

Ingredients
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 3 cups milk

Directions
  1. Cream the cream cheese.
  2. Add the sugar and eggs; mix well.
  3. Add vanilla, lemon juice and flour.
  4. Mix. Add milk.
  5. Mix again.
  6. Pour into 8" x 8" x 2" pyrex dish.
  7. Bake 350 for 1 hour until lightly bown and firm
  8. Again, this is not a traditional cheesecake.
  9. It is more like a custard. Cut into squares. This is fast simple and easy!
