How to make it

  • Melt Earth Balance® in a skillet and add mushrooms, toss to coat.
  • Add the wine, red pepper flakes and reserved shells and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Add the flour to the milk and mix well.
  • Remove the shells from the pan.
  • Slowly add the milk mixture, stirring constantly until thickened.
  • Season with salt.
  • Pour into one large or two small prepared ramekins and sprinkle with paprika.
  • Bake @ 400 for 15-20 minute or until the top is slightly brown.
  • Serve as is with plenty of crusty bread or over linguini.
  • Any type of shellfish will work....use what you like and make it your own.
