Pepper Jack Chicken Pasta

- 1 pound thinly sliced boneless chicken breast shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- Tsp minced garlic shopping list
- 1 onions, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green bell peppers shopping list
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red or yellow bell peppers shopping list
- 4 ounces softened cream cheese shopping list
- 4 ounces shredded Pepper Jack cheese shopping list
- 4 ounces cubed Velveta cheese shopping list
- 2 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 1 cup heavy cream or milk shopping list
- 3 tablespoons flour shopping list
- tsp Cajun spices shopping list
- tsp chopped parsley shopping list
- Salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/4 cup Sliced black olives optional shopping list
- Cooked pasta(1 -1 1/2 pounds) shopping list
- Olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta according to package directions
- Drain and add a drizzle olive oil or melted butter and set asidev
- In large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat
- Stir in chicken and cook over medium heat until browned
- Lower heat to medium low
- Stir in bell peppers and onions and cook until temder( about 4 minutes)
- Add garlic and cook another minute
- Stir in broth, cover and simmer 4 minutes
- Stir in cream, cream cheese, velveta and pepper jack cheese and cook until melted
- Mix together the flour with enough water to blend well
- Add to sauce and let simmer until slightly thickened( about two to four minutes)
- Add spices and serve over pasta
- If desired ,before serving, add chopped black olives and or sliced green onions
