We love the garlicky chipotle flavor in the beef paired with a generous caramelized onion topping and raw jalapeno-pepper rings for an extra layer of hot-pepper flavor! Yummy and pretty! Ingredients
- chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, pureed shopping list
- lime juice shopping list
- fresh garlic, crushed shopping list
- cumin shopping list
- oregano shopping list
- turmeric shopping list
- salt & pepper shopping list
- a tad vegetable oil shopping list
How to make it
- Puree the chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. You can put them in a deep jar and puree them with a stick blender.
- Take a small amount of the chipotle puree (what you need: not the whole can) and mix it with remaining ingredients in reasonable quantities.
- Marinate the meat. Be certain to drain this particular marinade off the meat very well before cooking the meat as it tends to produce a lot of excess liquid.
