Honey Sherried Crunch Pie

- 9 inch pie shell baked shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon of unflavored gelatin shopping list
- 1/2 cup of medium dry sherry shopping list
- 1 pkg. (3 1/2 oz.) vanilla pudding mix NOT INSTANT shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup of milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup of honey shopping list
- 1 cup of heavy cream whipped shopping list
- 1 cup of coarsely crushed peanut brittle shopping list
How to make it
- Soften gelatin in Sherry.
- Prepare pudding mix according to package directions, using the 1 1/2 cups of milk as the liquid. remove from heat; add softened Sherry and gelatin; stir until dissolved.
- Stir in honey, and cool the filling for one hour, until partially thickened.
- Fold in whipped cream.
- Spoon into pie shell.
- Cover the top with the crushed peanut brittle, patting down with your hand. Chill. Cuts easier if chilled overnight.
