How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Whisk above ingredients in a dish and set aside.
  • Place chicken skin side down in a hot pan. Cook until the skin is browned and crispy. Spoon out any accumulated chicken oil. Turn off stove top heat, Turn over chicken and brush chicken with sauce, making sure to get under the skin and in crevices. Pour remaining sauce over chicken and in the pan. Add chicken to the oven, cook until chicken is 165 degrees. approx 25-30 min. I set my timer for 25 min, turn off the oven and let the chicken rest uncovered in the oven. Serve with rice.
