Chili Butter Sauteed Shrimp

- 6 - 8 large raw shrimp - peeled and deveined shopping list
- chili powder spice mix - store bought or homemade shopping list
- Olive Oil shopping list
- Butter (unsalted) shopping list
How to make it
- Pat shrimp dry to remove any excess moisture.
- Put shrimp in bowl and lightly coat with Olive oil.
- Sprinkle generously, lightly, or somewhere in between with Chili powder mix (according to taste) coating both sides of shrimp.
- Place bowl in fridge for up to an hour while you prepare the rest of your meal.
- In a small saute pan add 1 Tablespoon of butter and melt.
- When butter is melted and hot add shrimp.
- Cook shrimp on each side about 2-3 minutes (depending on size). It won't take long. Shrimp should be opaque when done.
- Serve over rice along with melted butter left in pan.
- * Increase number of shrimp according to appetite and how many serving. Increase butter accordingly as well *
- * Large shrimp are 26-30 count sized *
