How to make it

  • 1. Take 2 potatoes of approximately the same size., I use the second potato on another batch of these. He really likes them so I cook potatoes ahead!
  • 2. Place them in their microwave bag.
  • 3. Microwave them for about 8 minutes.
  • 4. Take the Olive Oil Sprayer and spray the cast iron pan well.
  • 5. While the potatoes are cooking, chop up the 1/2 onion.
  • 6. Put the onions into the heated pan.
  • 7. Brown these until they are cooked enough for you.
  • 8. Take the potatoes out of the microwave, and slice one into slices.
  • 9. When the onions are cooked pull them to one side of the pan.
  • 10. Lay the sliced potatoes in a single layer in the rest of the pan, make sure if you need to spray more olive oil in to do that before you add the sliced potatoes.
  • 11. Fry them for about 5 minutes, or until the bottoms are as brown as you like them.
  • 12. Flip them one at a time.
  • 13. Cook this side for about 5 minutes.
  • 14. Stir in the onions that have been sitting to the side.
  • 15. After they are mixed well, Serve them up, with ketchup if you like!
