Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cut avocados in half, scrape out the luscious mess inside into a large bowl!
  • Add the lime juice, pretty quick, to help it keep from turning brown.
  • Chop up the red onions VERY fine! Add to the luscious mess.
  • Add garlic, cilantro, salt, pepper and chili powder.
  • Mix this very well, until it is as smooth as you want it to be.
  • Add the cans of DRAINED cans of tomatoes with green chilies. I saved the juice and put it into the fridge to use in my Ramen Noodles, I love the spiciness it adds to it!
  • Stir well again. We want those tomatoes all the way to the bottom!
  • Now take and place about 1/2 cup into a snack size zip lock.
  • Roll to get the air out, and zip it up.
  • Do this until you have filled all of the Guacamole into little bags.
  • Be sure the bags are cleaned of any residue.
  • Place them into a LARGE/GALLON size zip lock bag.
  • Squeeze out the extra air, we do not want freeze burn. Zip it up!
  • Place in freezer where you can reach it easily.

  • I should note here that I put them into snack size zip locks because I am the only one in the house that will eat it. If your whole family will eat this, put it into bigger bags! I also did not add the cilantro or chili powder.
  • ~
  • Also, I am assuming that you could dice up fresh tomatoes and fresh green chilies to your taste also. I just did not have those on hand. I did this with what I had in the house. ENJOY!!!
