Basic Fried Rice

- 3 cups cooked white rice, I will use brown rice shopping list
- 3 tbs sesame oil shopping list
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots (thawed) shopping list
- 1 small onion, chopped- OR- half a bunch of green onions diced up well shopping list
- 1tsp minced garlic, I add more we love garlic and it is good for you shopping list
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten shopping list
- 1/4 cup soy sauce shopping list
How to make it
- On medium high heat, heat the oil in a large skillet or wok.
- Add the peas carrots mix, onion and garlic.
- Stir fry until tender.
- Lower the heat to medium low and push the mixture off to one side, then pour your eggs on the other side of skillet and stir fry until scrambled.
- Now add the rice and soy sauce and blend all together well.
- Stir fry until thoroughly heated.
- Try adding some green onion.
- ADD SHRIMP OR CHICKEN FOR COMPLETE DISH.
- ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
- You could also add pineapple chunks, or even cook the rice in pineapple juice.
- Maybe add bell peppers of all colors to brighten this basic dish up!
