How to make it

  • 1: Cut mozzarella sticks in half.
  • 2: Combined the bread crumbs, cup Parmesan cheese, and salt in a big mixing dish.
  • 3: In a large soup cup, beat the eggs. Dip and cover the cheese sticks entirely. Allowing the excess egg to drip back into the cup.
  • 4: Coat the cheese fully in the breadcrumb mixture. Pressing it into the mixture to make it stick.
  • 5: Dip the cheese sticks in the egg and breadcrumb mixtures a second time to coat them very well.
  • 6: Place the cheese sticks on a baking sheet, covered with plastic wrap or aluminum foil, freeze for 2 hours.
  • 7: In a big skillet, heat the oil over medium heat, fry the cheese until golden brown, around 1 minute per side. Test the oils readiness by sprinkling a few drops of water in it, if it sizzles and evaporates, it's ready.
  • 8: Place the fried cheese on a platter and served with the garnish cheese sprinkled on top.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
  • Mine is Marinara.
