How to make it

  • Spray a 6-quarter slow cooker, with olive oil.
  • Remove the inner skin of the ribs and place ribs in the slow cooker.
  • Mix the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl, stirring continuously until the sugar has completely dissolved.
  • Spread 3/4's of the sauce on the ribs.
  • Season, to taste, with pink himalayan salt and fresh ground black pepper.
  • Cover, and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours, or on high for 4 to 5 hours.
  • When the ribs are falling apart tender, remove from slow cooker.
  • Serve ribs immediately with remaining sauce, and side dishes of choice.
