Birthday Cake Monster Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 box vanilla cake mix (or yellow cake) shopping list
- 1/3 c packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 stick butter, softened shopping list
- 1/2 c creamy peanut butter shopping list
- 1/4 c water shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 c quick-cooking oats shopping list
- 1/3 c M&M's shopping list
- 2/3 c semisweet chocolate chip cookies shopping list
- 1/3 c rainbow sprinkles shopping list
- 1 tsp flaky sea salt shopping list

- NOTE FROM ERMA: I am thinking whatever type of cake mix you want to use, you should use. I am thinking spice, carrot, and dark chocolate! shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cake mix, brown sugar, butter, peanut butter, water and egg.
- Stir in remaining ingredients, except sea salt.
- Spoon 1-inch balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, placing each one about an inch apart.
- Lightly sprinkle the tops of the cookies with sea salt (optional).
- Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the cookies have puffed up and the edges are very slightly golden.
- (NOTE: These cookies will not brown like typical chocolate chip cookies. They're more like sugar cookies in that respect.)
