Ingredients
  • 2 lb MILD ITALIAN SAUSAGE, CUT UP, Medium if u like the heat
  • 2 tb OLIVE OIL
  • 2 RED & GREEN PEPPER, COURSE CHOP
  • 4 oz cn CHOPPED GREEN CHILIS
  • 1 ONION, COURSE CHOP
  • 2 cl CRUSHED GARLIC or MORE
  • 3/4 c DRY WHITE WINE
  • 4 oz cn TOMATO PASTE
  • 1/2 lb MUSHROOMS, THICK SLICED
  • 3 cn ITALIAN DICED TOMATOES, PUREED
  • 3 tb FRESH BASIL CHOPPED

Directions
  1. FRY SAUSAGE IN OIL UNTIL 3/4 COOKED. FRY ONION AND PEPPER IN SAUSAGE OIL ABOUT 5 MINUTES, ADD GARLIC AND MUSHROOMS AND FRY 5 MORE MINUTES. ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS AND SIMMER ON LOW, COVERED, ABOUT 1 HOUR.
