Korean Bbq Pork - Tae-gee Gogi

- 15-20 center cut pork chops (1/2 inch thickness) (t-bone chops work well too) shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 1/3 cup red pepper paste (go-chu jangg) shopping list
- 1 large yellow onion (halved and thinly sliced) shopping list
- 1-2 bunches of green onion (cleaned, and sliced diagonally 1-inch pieces) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds shopping list
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil shopping list
- 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced) shopping list
How to make it
- Wash and drain pork chops. In a large mixing bowl, add remaining ingredients. Coat pork chops in sauce and place in container. Layer the pork chops placing onions in between each layer. Pour remaining sauce over the pork chops and seal. Allow chops to marinade for several hours (or overnight). Grill on hot BBQ (gas or coals). Enjoy!
