Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix your flour with salt with a spoon.
  • Make a well and add the water half cup at a time stirring with a big fork or wooden spoon. It's normal if you only use half of the last half cup. Once the dough can be gathered u r good to go. If the dough is still clingy, add 1 tablespoon flour to gather and roll into a ball.
  • Cover with cling film orĀ  a towel n let rest fr 30 mins.
  • Roll out into 2 long cylinders. Cut into 3 to 4 cm thick discs. Roll each disc into circles of 15 cm diameters. Brush each disc with oil front n bk n stack in 5s. U should hav at least 6 sets of 5 stacks aka 30 discs.
  • Flour ur surface and roll out each stack to stretch them out. Yes d discs r gonna stick together n its wat we want. Once all ur stacks r rolled out into 20 cm diameter disc stacks, u r ready to cook.
  • Heat a non stick pan as if u gonna cook pancakes. Then lower fire to middle flame. Cook each disc fr 1 min on each side. Once u see d disc made puffy balloons on one side time to flip to d other side. Once both poof, lower ur flame and start to peel ur discs frm each other. U will get 5 perfectly thin transparent wrappers.
  • My recipe yields 40 to 45 wrappers.
