How to make it

  • Season the swordfish steaks generously with S&P
  • In a large skillet add 1 T butter and turn to medium-high
  • When the butter melts add the swordfish and lower the heat to medium
  • Place the rosemary and garlic on top of the steaks See Photo
  • At about the 4 minute mark, flip the steaks and place the rosemary and garlic back on top
  • Add the rest of the butter and turn the heat back up to medium-high
  • Add the soy sauce to the pan, and with a large spoon begin basting the steaks
  • Flip the steaks one more time and baste
  • Total cook time for an average swordfish steak is about 10-12 minutes
  • Shown served on basmati rice, with fresh, blanched green beans
