Sweet Potatoes  Praline Recipe
Creamy sweet potato side dish with a nice crunchy topping. The Southern Comfort gives it a nice flavor! Almost like having a sweet potato pie without the crust.

Ingredients
  • 29-ounce can cut sweet potatoes, drained
  • 3 TBSP butter melted
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 tsp Southern Comfort (or almond extract can be subsituted)
  • 1 1/2 pumpkin pie spice
  • PRALINE TOPPING:
  • 5 TBSP butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 TBSP flour
  • 2/3 cup pecans coarsely chopped

Directions
  1. Preheat oven - 350 degrees
  2. In large bowl-mash sweet potatoes
  3. Stir in butter sugar,eggs, Southern Comfort, and pie spice
  4. Place in greased casserole dish (9 inch glass pie plate works great)
  5. TO MAKE TOPPING:
  6. Mix topping ingredients together until it's crumbly...use your hands - it works better
  7. Sprinkle topping mix evenly over sweet potatoes
  8. Bake for 20 min. or until topping is carmalized and sweet potatoes are heated
