Noodle Surprise Recipe

	Genoveva / All my dishes 2 years, 2 months ago My great granny made this for my mom when she was little, the surprise was whatever she had on hand. This coninues to be a family favorite and my 6yr old requests it for his birthday dinner. Prep:10m Cook:30m Servings:48	Genoveva

Ingredients

1 bag wide egg noodles

1 can creamed corn

1 to 2 Tbsp butter

1/2 c milk

salt and pepper to taste

1c cheese, such as cheddar, monteray jack, American, or Velveeta,

shredded or chunked

*optional ingredients: 1/2c frozen peas, frozen mixed vegetables, diced ham/turkey/chicken

Directions

Preheat oven to 375

Cook and drain noodles according to package directions and pour into casserole dish.

Add butter and toss slightly to coat.

Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Bake uncovered about 30 minutes until heated through and cheese is melty.

*My family prefers this dish on the gooey, cheesy side, so I usually add more cheese and adjust the milk accordingly.
