These are great for the kids or adults who love their hot dogs! Serve with baked beans and tater tots!

Ingredients
  • 8 hot dogs, beef, turkey, or vegetarian
  • 8 slices of sandwich bread
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • baked beans and tater tots to serve as sides

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350°.
  2. Place a hot dog in the center of each slice of bread.
  3. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, onions, pickle relish and mustard. Mix well.
  4. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise mixture over each pup-roll-up.
  5. Bring sides of bread over hot dog and secure with toothpicks.
  6. Place roll-ups, seam sides down, in an ungreased rectangular baking dish.
  7. Brush with butter.
  8. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until hot and golden brown.
  9. Durning last 7 minutes of cooking, sprinkle top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  10. Cheese should be melted and, if desired, a little bubbly.
