Cabbage Rolls by Claudette

- 1 head of cabbage shopping list
- 1 pound ground beef shopping list
- 1/2-3/4 cup instant rice, uncooked shopping list
- 1/2 cup onion, diced shopping list
- 1 Tb minced garlic shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1/2-3/4 cup lemon juice shopping list
- 10-12 cloves of garlic shopping list
How to make it
- Microwave cabbage leaves until leaves are limp. Peal apart and lay out to cool a bit.
- Mix beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper, and minced garlic in a small bowl
- Place a good 1/4-1/3 cup meat mixture into cabage leaves and roll into a tight bundle. Cut larger center vein out of leaves if needed to easily roll.
- Place rolls seam-side down into 9x13 pan.
- Stack if needed.
- Place cloves over rolls and pour lemon juice over rolls and cover tightly.
- Bake in oven at 350 degrees 1 houror until ground beef is done.
