Caramel Apple Cheesecake

- 1 can apple pie filling shopping list
- 1 graham cracker crust shopping list
- 16 ounces cream cheese softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/4 cup caramel topping shopping list
- 12 half pecans plus 2 tablespoons chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Reserve 3/4 cup apple filling then spoon remaining filling into crust.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth then add eggs and beat well.
- Pour over apple filling and bake for 35 minutes then cool.
- In small saucepan mix reserved apple pie filling and caramel topping sauce.
- Heat at low temperature for 1 minute.
- Remove apple slices from pan leaving sauce behind.
- Arrange apple slices on top of cheese cake.
- Spoon caramel sauce onto top of cheese cake and spread evenly.
- Decorate with pecan halves around edge.
- Sprinkle with chopped pecans and refrigerate before serving.
