Caramel Apple Cheesecake Recipe
This is so good. The combination of caramel, apples, pecans and cream cheese is decadent, what more could you ask for? Yummers.

Ingredients
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 1 graham cracker crust
  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup caramel topping
  • 12 half pecans plus 2 tablespoons chopped pecans

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Reserve 3/4 cup apple filling then spoon remaining filling into crust.
  3. Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth then add eggs and beat well.
  4. Pour over apple filling and bake for 35 minutes then cool.
  5. In small saucepan mix reserved apple pie filling and caramel topping sauce.
  6. Heat at low temperature for 1 minute.
  7. Remove apple slices from pan leaving sauce behind.
  8. Arrange apple slices on top of cheese cake.
  9. Spoon caramel sauce onto top of cheese cake and spread evenly.
  10. Decorate with pecan halves around edge.
  11. Sprinkle with chopped pecans and refrigerate before serving.
